It's been two days since Maxim tried to carry me out of my office but was stopped by the guards. He was furious but that wasn't my fault. I hired them to save me and they were just doing their duty. And now he's not even talking to me like it's all my fault.
Okay! I think that there maybe a tiny chance of him being angry because I choose to stay with Ethan. But come on! I was also angry at him for handling the situation like a brute. You can't just pick a women and throw her on your shoulder like she's a sack of potatoes.
