Harley was sitting on her bed, a book, open on her lap, earphones in, listening to music as she read. She felt pretty bad about what she'd said to Alex, she didn't really mean any of it. And after her mom had talked to her, she'd felt even worse. She wanted to go talk to Alex, but she was scared that she'd destroyed their friendship. First, she magicked Alex, and then she'd called her a coward. If Alex never spoke to her again, she'd be the only one to blame.
Olivia drifted into the room and watched Harley. She sunk down on the bed opposite her. "Are you okay?"
"Not really." Harley's eyes flew up as she realized that she'd just heard Olivia speak, and then she squealed as she saw her sitting on her bed. "How am I seeing you?" She slammed the book closed and scooted closer to Olivia.
