CHARLES’S POV
It was a matter of seconds before I made my way from the interrogation room back to my office. Erik protested, but I made him take Jake to my medical facility while I checked on a few personal matters. Mainly my brother. I am hoping he did not think I would have caught on to his plan so quickly, but I would be an i***t not to go check it out.
