Chapter 22A new year has begun and I don’t know why, but I’m not as excited as I thought I’d be. Sure, the new house is great and the interior decoration is coming along. I enjoy looking for bargains and putting together the vision I have for our home. Lund’s Blue Dinners is officially running and steadily gaining a consumer base. The business keeps Nick and I busy and motivated. It was thrilling to visit the plant, to meet our employees, to shake hands with everyone involved. Mostly though, I have to admit, Nick is the one they all know and appreciate. Since the beginning, I’ve been working in the shadows and so I didn’t get to truly know any of the people Nick recruited or collaborated with. They were names on a paper.
