Bethany seemed a lot happier with me, but I didn't want to push my luck, so I didn't ask her to sleep with me in our bed. Instead, I let her decide on her own, where she wanted to sleep. As I had expected, she went straight to the spare bedroom after we finished eating dinner and got the kitchen cleaned back up.
I didn't follow her to the spare bedroom. Instead, I opted to go the bathroom in the master bedroom, then I took a quick shower. When I was finished showering, I pulled on a pair of dark gray sweatpants, then I walked out to the living room and turned on the tv. After flipping through the channels, I settled on a documentary about caves.
