Evelyn's pov
“Evelyn! Bring me the red file from Samantha.” Alpha asked me to bring the file while I was preparing coffee for him
“Yes sir.” replying that I went to fetch the file from downstairs.
It's been 2 weeks since that incident and I am still shaken with everything. That night I fainted and woke up the next morning directly. I had a fever for 4 days. Zara was about to hospitalise me but I stopped her as I didn't want the medical bill to Increase and waste more money.
Obviously I didn't tell her that she would have beaten me if I told her that. I don't remember much of what happened in those 4 days but I always felt a presence around me whenever I was awake. As if someone was with me all the time. It wasn't Zara! She left after feeding me.
