The incident with Cadoc and his group in the woods the first night was the only issue we had getting to the Mirror River pack. We arrived on the second day of our trip right at dinner time. The guards knew that we were on our way, thanks to a letter that I had sent ahead of time, so the gates to the pack village were open. The guards saw us and stopped us briefly.
“I’m Alpha Killian from Nightshade with supplies to trade,” I told the guard as he looked up at me.
