Jaylin nailed her performance and owned the stage like it was hers.
Even when everyone who doubted and remembered her walking out on her recital years ago cheered for her.
We waited outside for her and waited on the news of her being accepted. There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that she wouldn’t make it.
“Do you think she made it?” Sasha asked beside me.
Since we left the theatre, she kept starring at the entrance where Jaylin would appear any minute. We saw other dancers come out crying.
“Without a doubt in my mind,” I answered, smiling when I saw Jaylin appearing.
Travis was making his way over to her before anyone of us could even react. “She made it,” I muttered, noticing the big grin on her face when Travis embraced her.
