The response was palpable. Amaris knew that Ahab must have been angry they hijacked his performance, but there was something beautiful in the idea that, for once, the entire country was in arms against Ahab. Something magical was happening already in Atlantis.
She could just feel it.
Dimitri found her around noon in the mess hall the following day. She was sitting by herself, thinking about how much Stephen had reminded her of her father.
