“A contract…?”
“Yes, one that will stop you from running away during the duration of our agreement.” He gestured to the cocktail table in front of the sofa. “There’s the contract, and the pen…sign.”
Larisa placed the tray on the empty end of the table and took the contract and the pen in her lap instead. Her hands were shaking, she was scared.
Scared to be bound by a contract and more scared that this contract would bound her to him.
She knew that he saved her life, she knew he paid off her uncle’s debt…but did she have to sacrifice two months of her life to pay him back?
Water filled her eyes as she looked down at the paper. “I wasn’t going to run away, after all, I have nowhere to go…but signing a contract makes the reality of this even clearer. Did you have to?”
“Yes, absolutely. Now sign.” He leaned back on the sofa. “You can read it if you like, but regardless of what you say about its content…I won’t change anything.”
Larisa nodded, swallowing the bile in her throat. She blinked away her tears and her eyes scanned the paper, sucking up the words.
‘This contract is effective as of 11/02/24 to 01/ 22/25, between Julian Maverick now referred to as party ‘A’, and Larisa Bronc; Party ‘B’.
Both parties acknowledges and agrees that Party ‘B’ owes a total of $70,450 to Party ‘A’ which will be paid back in installments of $1000 every day until the end of this agreement.
The payment terms will be paid as thus~
Party ‘B’ returns $1000 each day she spends with Party ‘A’. However, if Party ‘B’ leaves before the end of this contracts, all the installments paid before will be nullified and Party ‘A’ withholds the right to do anything deemed worthy to be called a punishment to Party ‘B’.
Furthermore, the amount paid before the breach will relapse back to exactly where it started ‘0’, and the same method will be used to pay it off.

Larisa’s hand tightened around the pen. “Punishment…? W-What kind of punishment?”
“Well Larisa, I really don’t know. It all depends on how angry I am the day you decide to defy me. I could break a limb or even amputate your feet…all in the name of you not ever being able to leave me again.” Larisa saw the pleased look on his face when she flinched, a look of delight; one that made it known that he enjoyed her fear…of him. “Or I could just f*ck you until you remember that I’m the one in control…the one who has the upper-hand…the one who f*cking owns you. But who knows what I’ll do, Larisa? You better keep your end of the deal if you don’t want to find out.”
“Two months…” Larisa agreed. “I’ll stay for two months and then you’ll leave me alone. I don’t even want to see your face or hear your voice on my TV, and I don’t want you showing up in front of me ever again.”
“Well then, by the end of those months, I’ll see if you want the same. By then, you’ll probably accept this place for what it is; your new home.” He clicked his tongue. “Sign the contract, Larisa. I’m late for work as it is.”
The pen shook in Larisa’s hand as she wrote down her signature -L.Bronc- and then handed the pen and the paper to him. He looked down at it and then smiled. “Nice doing business with you, Little reporter. I look forward to your stay here.”
He stood to his feet and then called out to someone else in the house. “Mariann…!”
A woman came running inside almost immediately. “Yes sir.”
“Larisa, meet my house help Mariann, Mariann meet Larisa. She’s a very special guest that should be taken care of at all times. If she asks you to open her f*cking drawer despite standing in front of it, you do it without question.”
“Yes sir.”
“Also, I want you to show her around and introduce her to my men…they’ll be protecting her, she at least needs to know how they look.”
“I will, sir.”
“I’ll be leaving now.” He turned to Larisa. “Behave while I’m gone, Love. I’ll try my best to finish early just in case you start missing me when you get lonely.”
That would never happen, Larisa thought, leaning back when he leaned towards her, whispering. “I’d really like it if you stayed in that shirt for the rest of your life.” He leaned closer, his lips caressing her forehead in a kiss. “But that won’t happen, so at least put it back on after showering tonight…nothing but panties beneath.”
Larisa gasped at his words, pulling down the shirt nervously. “I can’t…that’s…you…please I…”
He laughed, finally pulling back. “I’m just joking, you can wear whatever you want. Mariann will show you to your room, there are clothes in there especially for you.”
Before she could respond, although she had absolutely nothing to say…he walked out of the room, and finally, Larisa felt like she could breathe freely.
The house help cleared her throat as she picked up the tray off the coffee table. “I hope you enjoyed breakfast, Ma’am. If you’re ready for the house tour, then please follow me, if not, I’ll escort you to your room.”
“The tour…and please call me Larisa, that’s my name.”
“Okay, miss Larisa. Please follow me, it’s this way to the elevator.”
Larisa got up from her sitting position and followed her into the elevator. She wasn’t really interested in looking around or maybe she was curious to know how much more luxurious this place could be.
But even if this was a castle, she was sure she’d be happier home; far away from this man who wanted to hold her captive, who wanted her to be his in ~according to him~ her ‘new home’.
