I tried to plan our wedding on our own. We wanted a small and simple wedding, so I didn’t think it would be hard or complicated, but man, was I wrong. Turns out, falling in love with Ian was the easy part. Planning a wedding? Yikes.
I don't always stress out about the wedding details. But when I do, it’s always at 1 AM when I have to be up at 6 for work.
There were so many things to do. We had to pick and book the venue, choose the wedding party, get a photographer, caterer, florist, musicians, not to mention compile a guest list, browse for a wedding dress, book an officiant, and get the invitations out there, et cetera et cetera.
