Night fell. Most of the pack members retreated to their homes, but Theo, Ezekiel, Penny, and I waited at the pack house’s foyer. It was a peaceful night, but I couldn’t stop thinking about the storm that was brewing in the woods. I knew that it was just a matter of time before mayhem broke out.
