“You’re here!” Megan came bounding down the stairs and enveloped me in a hug as soon as I entered the house. It had been a whirlwind of days with Jax, celebrating in bed and everywhere else. We just couldn’t get enough of each other now that we had finally called off the bet and decided to get married.
Jax seemed eager to tie the knot as quickly as possible, perhaps afraid I might have second thoughts before he could seal the deal.
I had informed Megan of our plans, but I hadn’t found the time to visit her until now. Naturally, she was overjoyed and couldn’t wait to dive into the planning.
