"I heard her," I whispered, not even wiping my tears, "Why do you keep lying for her? She cheated on you, every day. She told you that she didn't want me as a son and you told her to shut up because I might hear her."
He frowned, "I know how much you adore your mother. I didn't want you to hate her. She wanted to leave because she fell in love with someone else, son."
"Dad, she left us because she never wanted to be a mother," I replied to his lies, already knowing what had happened before, "She left you because she didn't want me."
Dad hugged me tightly as I try to muffle the tears that badly wanted to escape from me.
