I GOT UP REALLY EARLY. Thayu was still asleep when I tiptoed out of the room to the hall, only to find Devlin and Telaris already up. They were at the communication hub, looking at something on a screen.
“Anything going on?” I asked, feeling a sense of dread coming over me.
“The news is that there is unrest in South Africa,” Devlin said.
“In Cape Town?”
“No. Pretoria.”
I went to look over his shoulder. His reader’s screen displayed pictures of angry mobs of people outside the head office of Sandowne Pharmaceuticals.
