A Night in the Dungeon
The following day, the weather conditions had changed with the storm finally beginning to abate. But there was no good news on their access to the outside world, or Lawrence’s condition. Both remained the same. That afternoon, when Eric was holding court in the library, he called Meri down to join them. While the others had chattered amongst themselves and played games in the library during the afternoon, Meri had stayed in her bedroom and read. It had been her plan to stay as far away from Eric Ravenly as possible.
