Quayle began to walk towards Greeley's table, He said as he sat down: "How's the missus?" "She's all right," said Greeley. The place was nearly empty. Outside four or five heavy lorries were being started up. One by one they rumbled off. Quayle said: "This is it. There's a man called Foden coming over to this country from Morocco. He'll be here inside a day or two. You'll be told where the boat's docking. They'll let you know that to-morrow. When you leave here to-night, go back home. I'll have you telephoned about two o'clock to-morrow afternoon. Then you go down to the port." Greeley said: "I get it."
