“W-what do you mean he left?” I asked and couldn’t even control myself to not stutter.
“Something came up in our company in the U.S. Dad needs him to fix it himself, he can’t trust it to anyone in the company aside from him. He told me to go with you when you go back to the Philippines,” Luca explained.
I heaved a sigh and nodded. I understand it. What I don’t clearly understand is, why he didn’t tell me earlier when he was still there when we were talking? So that explains his acts earlier, why he hugs me so tight like I was about to disappear, but it turns out that he’s the one who left me, without even a single word.
