Matthew took a long, hard look at his monitor. There was a headache slowly increasing in intensity behind his left eye and for what could have been the eighty-sixth time, Matthew had to shake his head in attempt to refocus. He should have been fine. He’d slept great, both he and Gavin had, and the new day hadn’t brought any horrifying surprises. It had, however, brought some technological annoyances.
He was frustrated, though not so much from the headache and more from the cotton-picking laptop’s annoying attempts to slow him down. He’d had trouble connecting, though he’d resolved that issue fairly quickly with the help of one of Vaughn’s shifters, Chuckles, who actually seemed rather stoic, but perhaps that was the point of the nickname, who had tweaked some of his permissions in the set
