Mari/Risa
When we made it back, the place was quiet. Every light was off and I wondered if Phoebe was still here. As we walked towards our room, we heard the door open. Risa quickly went inside her room and closed the door while leaving it open just enough for her to peek out. Phoebe came out of the room holding Apollo’s hand and giggling.
“So once I kill Miren, you will get what you want. We can finally stand by each other as King and Queen.”
Apollo pulled her to his chest and kissed her forehead. “But you’re still mated with the Alpha’s brother.”
She shrugged, “Not for long. I’ll reject him right after I kill his little redheaded bitch.” They walked towards the front door together before he opened it and they both went outside.
The day of the battle came sooner than I anticipated.
