Another week had passed, and while Sam was a little nicer to her when Hadley popped in unannounced, he was still so far gone in a depression that she couldn’t pull him out no matter how hard she tried.
To make matters worse, things were still awkward with Matt, and she hated that. Matt was always the person she could turn to when she needed advice, and right now she needed him more than anything.
