I stirred awake but quickly noticed that these surroundings were different from my home, much different. When I stood to take a look around, it was like the air around me had evaporated. It was much harder to breathe here.
There was a frozen pond with white snow sprinkled all over the ground. It was like a winter wonderland. A woman in white herself stood over the pond, peering downward. Not only was she dressed in a straight white gown, but her hair matched that perfect white with the most beautiful braids that I had ever seen. I have no idea who she was, but she was absolutely captivating, even for me being a woman.
I stood there without saying anything, but she noticed my presence and turned around offering me a smile. “I’ve been expecting you, Riven. Come here, my dear child.”
