- Are you having trouble breathing?! - Perdita asked with fear in her voice and Jake lifted his hands.

- No don't worry! This is just a saying, it means that you are very beautiful. - Perdita sighed and relaxed.

- Oh, okay.

-Have you finished your breakfast? - I asked and she nodded. Jake clapped his hands but only making a low sound which I was grateful for. On our way here, I've given him some advice.

- So how should I talk with Perdita? - Jake asked me after we departed with the gifts and our stuff.

- What do you mean? - he shrugged pulling his jacket together on his chest.

- You said she wasn't properly educated. Is she talking like a kid?

- No, she talks normally but there are many words that she doesn't understand. I think they mostly cursed in front of her and used degrading words. She has no idea what love is, so positive words confuse her many times. Just be patient and explain it if she doesn't understand something.

- That's only natural! It's not her fault that they treat her that way. I'm really curious of the girl who despite being a rumored monster, captured your heart.

I could see still the light in the tower and smiled thinking about Perdita being vigilant all night. When we arrived, we hid the ship and grabbed everything we brought for her. With Jake, I sneaked up to the tower and walked in carefully. As expected, Perdita was upstairs. We put the bags down and I closed the door meticulously. I don't want any of those monsters to disturb her today... My heart clenched thinking about what she should have endured the whole week. When we walked up to the tower, I extinguised the fire and woke Perdita up with care. The happiness in her eyes when she saw me told me that she was waiting earnestly. When she heard Jake's voice she immediately jumped between us to defend me, which only made my faith in her stronger. Someone this kind cannot be a monster. No matter what form she has.

- Now that we finished the breakfast. - Jake said and picked up a bag. It was the one filled with clothes from Harry and a few books.

- We bought this with my girlfriend for you to wear! I hope you'll like them! - he handed the bag to Peridta and she looked at me waiting.

- These are yours, open it. - I said and she nodded opening the bag. She smiled happily checking out the clothes and books.

- Thank you very much! - she said to Jake and I saw my friend getting a bit nervous.

- No biggie! I'm glad you like them!

- But Jake... What is a girlfriend? - she asked and I felt my face getting red just like Jake's as well. How do you explain that to a girl? Suddenly, Jake's phone rang and he checked it.

- Oh thanks God! Our savior! - he said picking up the phone.

- Hey Harry! Yes, we arrived a little ago. We just had breakfast. She is very nice and beautiful... What? Wait a sec...-Jake turned to me and asked.

- Harry wants to Facetime us. Is it okay? - I looked at Perdita who stared at the phone in Jake's hand.

- Perdita, I told you last time, we can speak to people far away with those, Jake's girlfriend and a really good friend of mine would like to talk to you too. Is it okay?

- Will he come here too?

- What is it? - I asked and she looked into my eyes.

- Your world is so magical! It's filled with interesting things and kind people! - I want to take you away from here now... Just pick you up and ran away. To show you all these things. We stayed till the sky got darker. Jake got up and headed back to the ship first leaving me alone with Perdita.

- Are you leaving already? - she asked and I shook my head.

- We are sleeping here and only go back tomorrow afternoon.

- But where did Jake go then?

- He is sleeping on the ship, I'll go soon too, but I wanted to give you this before. - I gave her the bag with the dress. As Perdita pulled it out I started to explain.

- I know you were fond of your purple dress, but I wanted to give you something new. Something that you'll only experience happy things in it. - Perdita's eyes filled with tears as she looked at the dress and then at me.

-This is breathtaking. - she said and I chuckled softly at how she used the new word she learned today.

- Try it on. - I said and she went to the bathroom. When Perdita came out, I felt like a lightning struck me.

- How is it? - she asked. I couldn't speak. I just stared at her in awe. I thought this kind of things only happened in cheesy movies or in books. But experiencing it myself... Hear beating crazily, mind going numb and tongue unable to form words.

- You are... Like a real Princess. - I managed to answer and she blushed. She spin around and the sparkles made her look like a fairy with magic dust around her. I walked to Perdita and held her hand.

- Would you dance with me, Princess? - I asked and she blushed.

- I'm a monster not a princess.

- You are wrong, you are a beautiful Princess. - she giggled and bowed a bit.

- We can't dance my sweet knight! We have no music.

- Let this knight do some magic. - I said and searched for a song om YouTube. When I found it, I put the phone on the table and held her hand, placing a kiss on top of it.

- May I have this dance?

- Yes! - she said and I pulled her closer holding her thin waist. She could slip through my fingers so easily, yet I don't want this moment to end... Ever.
