Chapter 12The remainder of the week went about as Kieran and Layne expected. They finished with the shrubs, then returned to the garden center to pick up some of the potted flowers which they would transplant into two of the beds Robert had already created. The rest of the bricks and flowers arrived Friday morning and by that evening the paths and the other flowerbeds were ready to be put to use.
The pair spent each evening, after supper, reading for a while before going up to the meadow for some very personal time alone.
