Even when you are bleeding,

You still have to keep walking;

As the dream is still far away;

The distance is night and day.

They ask you to do their bidding,

Then you follow without asking;

You venture on and do as they say,

Thinking you are on the right way.

They show you promising signs,

Making you feel like you're on cloud nine;

But then, it was just a hidden ploy,

So they can play with you like a toy.

Humans are selfish and deceitful,

Unrelenting like a tyrant's rule;

They say everything was measured,

Though they already have a favored treasure.

They are biased, they are never fair,

Even if you fight back, they'd never care;

You know you deserved better and much more,

But since they have the favor, you'll just end up sore.

Now you've learned a hard lesson,

Not all that shines are glitter, some are poison.

Dreams now lost, stolen before your eyes,

So never again, believe in their lies.
