A Love Worth Ending

283 คำ
I glanced at you and I sheepishly smiled, At your grins, my calm heart goes wild. . . . . . . What is this I feel every time you are near? It is as though to me you are held dear. . . . . . . My chest warms up as my blood flows, My heart rushes, and into your hand goes. . . . . . . You accept the love that I have confessed, But then again and again you put it to the test. . . . . . . The universe falls away when we are alone together, but when we're in the outside world, our love is over. . . . . . . You retreat into the walls that you built so high, leaving me alone in darkness to bleed and die. . . . . . . But my foolish heart knows no better, It still longs for you even if you never. . . . . . . It fights and hopes that one day you'll see, That the love we've hidden was meant to be free. . . . . . . Who else was there when you were alone? Is it not I, that helped you all along? . . . . . . I've given you chances, one too many; Too frequent in fact, that love turned to pity. . . . . . . Some say that what we had was great if it was enduring, but I've come to my senses and realized it was a love worth ending. . . . . . .
