After climbing back down to the beach, he joined Manuel and explained to him about the fisherman and his sons. “We need to get everyone together in one place so we can help each other,” he concluded. “We have the radio and generator here and their boat was destroyed. That fisherman shouldn’t walk with the cut he’s got. Any movement could start it bleeding again. Can you think of a way to get him around here? I can carry the kid over the ridge, but I don’t think I could manage the man.”
“The tide is going out. Maybe it will uncover some beach at the end of the ridge,”
