Dave generally worked the first couple hours at the bar alone during the week. Like most bars, his busiest days were Friday and Saturday. At five, his waitress, Louise, came on duty, and at six, his bartender, Ivan appeared. Those two, together with him, made up the majority of his staff. He had another part-time waitress who came in only on Fridays and Saturdays. Only two of his regular customers sat at the bar drinking beers with their eyes glued to the basketball game he had on the television above the bar.
