“What just happened?” I sat down on the edge of The bed wearily. Kicking off the heels I arched my feet. Before raising my head to the two men hovering at the door.
Both Mason and Aden stood awkwardly like they didn’t quite know whether they should be in the room with me.
“I think you just became alpha of your own pod.” Aden laughed.
“I’m not an alpha. You and Mason are alphas. I don’t know how to run a pod.” It was terrifying and yet it felt right.
“Your mum and grandfather will guide you.”
“And we will help as much as possible Daisy. But make no mistake they will be looking to you to lead them, not us.” Mason smiled. “We will be alpha and Beta in name only. You run the show here.”
I hadn’t even asked them if they wanted this. Doubt gripped me. I should have asked them.
