Chapter 25: Where It All Began
Ivo's point of view (for Chapter 16: The Night We Met)
"Thank you for deciding we should adopt the puppy. You're right. It's about time I should have a dog," I said at Paris, smiling.
She only smiled in answer. I watched her as she made her way upstairs. As she was gone out of my sight, my smile slowly disappeared as I was bothered seeing her red eyes like she has gone crying from something.
I clenched my hand and teeth. Even though Paris won't tell me, I know that I am behind those tears she just shed. But if only she could hear me explaining everything that I didn't do, we will not be hurting from this setup.
I went home feeling the turmoil of emotions inside me. I am getting to have a new dog. It has been a while since I have one. It hurts me so much
