“Alpha! Alpha! We need you at the pack house!” Jasz’s voice were pulling Crystal from a deep sleep. “Damnit Crystal! You need to wake up and get your ass over here!”
Finally able to throw off the last remnants of sleep, Crystal was awake and moving in the same moment when a hand wrapped around her waist, bringing her to a standstill. “Hey, hey, wait! Where are you of too in such a rush?”

I have to go.” Spinning on her heels, Crystal stormed towards the trees when another growl, warning and low reached her.
