"Who are they?!" Merylle asked nervously. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her up. I decided we run towards the mini forest. My powers would be useless here in an open field since it will be harder for my vines and plants to shield us. It's better to be surrounded by tall trees because it will give us the opportunity to hide behind them.
"I have no idea!" I screamed back. I managed to put up a wall made with vines in order to bar them from chasing us. However, the arrows can pass through from above. Luckily, we can easily avoid them due to my vampire skills. I do not let go of Merylle’s hand as we enter the forest. The wall won't last long. Their weapons are blazing with fire.
