“This is the seaside suite. Please enjoy.” The staff opened our doors and quickly brought in our luggage.
“It’s your birthday, but somehow, it feels like it’s mine instead.” I walked around the entire suite and checked the details out. The bathroom had a nice marble double sink, perfect for both of us to use at the same time. There was a shower and a jacuzzi tub and best of all, a drop-dead gorgeous view of the ocean, unobstructed by buildings and high rises unlike parts of Miami.
“I feel like we haven’t had the time to treat ourselves in a while.” Dylan smiled while coming up behind me and embracing me in his warm embrace. He’s right, I can’t think of the last time we were able to relax without being on our guard for a long while.
