Red Dress Chapter 4

My mind was on overdrive from all the questions that I had on my mind.They say that the legend has it that I’m the only ripper so how could there possibly be another like me? Another question that was eating me from the inside was what Craig had written on the note I found the other night, what war was Craig speaking of?

Clarissa’s power effected me but had no effect on Niqolette!  s**t!  What the hell is actually going on! 

I had found it extremely challenging to fall asleep, don’t even get me started on trying to gain my focus.         I decided that I needed some away time for a few days, you know, for work purposes but just until I could find a way to rid my mind from all these lingering questions at hand.

The next morning I got ready for breakfast as I was making my way to the dining hall room, my eyes came across Niqolette as she was leaving her room carrying a large bag.I must say that she looked better than last night since most of the wounds healed pretty fast and I could see her pale face was now restored with a beautiful sun-kissed blush tone, just like the first time I saw her. 

I walked past her with no words to utter to her, just a nod of my head, at least to be a bit polite that is. That is when I was struck with a searing pain that shot through my chest like a bullet to the heart, or lung. I felt just how hurt and humiliated my mate felt, don't even get me started with just how livid she was, the way I could feel all the anger built up within her was directed at me, as if I was the one person she truly could say she hates with a passion but I could also sense that under all that fury she had so many mixed emotions.

 I could not help but to turn around to face her, but before I knew it...she was gone. After breakfast I asked Jake to keep an eye out for Niqolette as I got this bad feeling in the pit of my gut. 

When I pulled out of the driveway, there she was, standing with her phone in her hand. That infuriated me to the point where mercy would not be a consideration, I mean... exactly who would she be talking to during this time of the day?? Maybe after last night she started feeling interested in someone else. This little wolf has no idea that I won't even have to think twice about taking someone's life but only when it comes to her!!! I will f*****g kill and destroy anything and anyone the only downside to this is that when it comes to picking sides, I fear only the worst.

*Niqolette’s point of view

I arrived at work only to find that Olga was in my office, waiting for me patiently.She had a smile on her face which made me more nervous every time and it's only because she never smiles, well smiles like that anyway. I made my way closer towards her that's when she rose from her chair and approached me.

“What are you doing here Niqolette?”

“Really Olga?? I work here or did you also replace me huh?”

“I wish I could my dear but the Alpha won’t budge!”she said with a laugh then she continued : 

“Listen you are relieved from all your duties for three consecutive days.You know the rules honey.”

“W-what that is insane, I am fine!”

“No you are not!You went through some rather serious emotional trauma my dear so stop asking silly questions and just take these three days off, you out of everyone need some well deserved time for yourself, to relax for once in your life!”

“Great I get kicked out of my room then the clinic!What is next! TELL ME HUH!”I yelled quite frantically as I turned around ready to leave,well, that is when Olga told me that shopping is always the best medicine for ladies. Somehow in the back of my mind I convinced myself to shut up and maybe just take the old lady's damn advice, that and it will defenitely be good to get out of this house.

*Aden’s point of view

Two days passed by since I have heard anything to do with Niqolette. The only time that I'll hear about her is from Jake whom keeps me updated.

Today I will be going home now that I have evrything undercontrol, my mind is officially cleared from any and all bullshit that took place a few days ago and my pshysique has improved by a milestone, my biceps are bigger, I could tell. Damn!! Those burpees as well as those freestyle mountian climbing sessions really paid off, at least my confidence is higher and my stress and worries for the futurewhich is to come are under seige.I admit that the moment I set foot through the front gate I tried to sniff out her scent only to find that her scent wasn't anywhere near me. She drives me crazy in all the wrong ways!                                    I reminded myself that there's a war coming which I need to be prepared for to be able to survive. I couldn't let my gaurd down and I had to start being cautious about evrything. I saw the guys practicing their fighting outside, I walked up to Jake who was busy fighting of course, I let out a loud cough, I just had to interrupt their training session only for a mere few seconds.

“Brother welcome back!”Jake said and threw his arms around my back as he pulled me into a tight bear hug. I showed him that we needed to have a chat about something urgent. We then took a few steps away from the group as they had continued to train and practice their attack tactics.

“What is wrong brother?” Jake asked me.

“Where is she Jake?”

“In bed getting the well deserved and much needed rest, now tell me how was the trip?”

“I’m talking about Nicolette... Jake!" I growled in a low voice                                                                                      "Where the hell is she?”  my words hardly came out when I heard a noise coming from the front gate.

A bike? Who the hell would be driving a bloody bike?                                                                                                With an impresive speed, some white and gold super bike with some girl on it came gliding in.

I hate to say this but dammit was she f*****g sexy even on a bike! My mate, Nikki! She climbed off the bike and as she removed the helmet from her head, I instantly noticed that her hair colour changed, she dyed it!!! With her hair loose and perfectly draped over her collarbones and shoulders I couldn't help but sense the men behind me’s arousal.They wanted her as badly as I wanted her but I can’t stand it!

She walked up to me while unzipping her jacket. Holy shittt.... she is going to kill me in full action. f**k, if only we were alone now.I would have made her mine.

“So I gathered that since I got replaced by a f**k doll ,so you got replaced by a bike!”

“Watch your mouth Nikki!” Aden said in a stern voice.

“Thanks Jake....for all the assistance"

“Brother? what assistance is she speaking of?" I gave a light growl.

“She had caught me while I was scheduled to be keeping an eye on her brother.”

“Please leave us Jake!”I said with so much anger to be heard in my voice, but by the time I finished my sentence Nikki was already giving me the death stare.

“You kicked me out then only to find out that I can’t work because I went through an emotional situation.This is bullshit Aden!!!  I’m done being the little p***y!                                                                      Emotional my f*****g ass!” she argued followed by turning her back on me and walking away.

 I then followed her to the little cottage that was in the back.She stopped by the door and just as quick as she left she had started making her way towards me.                                                                                                  She placed her hands around my neck and with a sudden gust she managed to throw me with my back hitting against the cement wall.I grabbed her by her hair only to pull her closer to my chest.

“What has gotten in to you sweetheart? It seems like you might have forgotten your place!”

“Oh so now I have a place!Get me back to working or things could get a lot worse for you Alpha!”I then turned her with immense speed only to press her against the wall.Our bodies heated each other as it literally felt like both of us were thrown with gasoline and a match thrown inbetween us so we could be ignited in flames and burn together, so much that she gave a silent growl.That made me want to lose control.

“Get rid of the bike babe!”

“No!”she said with a straight face only to pull me closer to her, close enough so that my mouth could meet her lips. One thing I must say which I found quite intreging is the very moment she let her lips graze my ear as she whispered: “Get rid of the mistress first then you have a deal Sir!” I could feel the heat of her sweat breath still lingering against my cheek even long after she had walked her sexy little ass inside, I can't get the image of the way she swayed her perfectly shaped hips with her firm ass stealing the show, but she had to put on a little more of a show for me as a reminder that her sassy little ass could be mine in every way that would please me.

With one hard push, I found myself a few meters away from her.Never has anyone spoken to me the way she just did. I was kind of turned on by the way she handled me.

“There was one rule which was to behave my dear!”

“Oh you think this is how I misbehave??No,no, then you should see how I truly become when I'm misbehaving. I guess if I can survive knives and segregation for weeks then I’ll survive you!”

My phone rang which broke the gaze on one another.It was Olga who informed Aden that Amelia had finally woken up but she refused to be touched as the fear of what happened with Craig was still very much affecting her.

“I’ll be right there!” Aden said.

I turned around only to find that Nikki was gone, she took off within less that a split second. She must have overheard the conversation I had with olga over the phone.                                                                                        I raced up the stairs to go see Amelia, she was in a pretty bad state, actually it was so bad that she was even afraid of me.

After a while she had calmed down and started to tell me some interesting stories about the conversations that went down. As I stood up Olga pierced my eyes with a lake placid death stare as if I was supposed to be scared of her. My anger came out like a volcanic explosion, I made my way steadily toward the small cottage outside where Nikki was. My mind was going crazy, my heart was racing which literally felt like it was about to burst out of my chest, leaving pieces of my broken ribs scattered on the floor.

*Niqolette’s point of view

I was busy making dinner when the door was smashed open, flying through the living room area and landing in the corner of the wall. I kept my body rigid and as still as possible as if frozen once I saw who it was that just barged right on in. Aden's eyes turned into the Alpha’s eyes.He came closer to me, swiftly he grabbed me by the neck, squeezing his hands tighter and tighter, my neck felt like a lemon when the juice is being squeezed into a jar.

“You gave them the idea to take Amelia, you are a selfish little b***h, so f*****g unthankful for what you have and f*****g ungrateful for what I have given you, evening by me sparing your life all this time should be counted as a blessing  little pathetic b***h!”

“Aden..!” I cried out

“You could have hurt this pack Niqolette, this is not a f*****g playground for you to just come along and play your little games. I could have lost what I love the most!”

That is when I turned into my alpha’s eyes.Tonight it is going to be one alpha against the other.The moment he saw my eyes his grip became looser. He was staring at me with dark eyes while I was challenging him for a fight. 

“What the f**k do you think you’re doing b***h!”

“You want to know why I gave her up.” I said

“Start talking!”

“She is the person I hate the most,she is sleeping with my mate, the ripper.At that moment she looked like a good target to remove.I’m not your weak point Aden she is and the sooner you realize it the better!”

“She is not, don’t turn the story !”

“Oh really then why are you trying to kill me mate?All for a mistress... now that is just f*****g sad!”

“That is not true Nikki!” 

“Kill me now Aden cause as long as the two of you will be sharing a bed then I will always be looking for ways Aden!”

“No you won’t Nikki, I will kill you!”

“Then kill me bastard or reject me now!”he looked at me for a few minutes then gently removed his hands off me.In a blink of an eye his hand landed on my cheek, the force of the impact allowed the mark to raise to the surface on my cheek with that I ended up finding myself on the floor.

“I will never reject you,you are mine and mine only.Try to kill her again then you might end up in segregation!”

“Bring it on Ripper!”I said with my hand on my face.

Our eyes met one last time before he left. He looked surprised to hear my last words.I will not be a victim like my mother was.... the sooner he gets it, the better. I felt somewhere really deep, deep, deep down inside my heart was a part of me that wanted him to reject me or just put me out of my misery, either one sounds like a bargain deal right about now. 

I picked myself up off the floor and dusted the dirt and stones that left dents in my skin.I only had one thing in mind, whichever way, one or another the ripper will have to choose.
