Chapter 5The next leg of the tour, LA to Dallas and beyond, would be done via a fancy tour bus with eight cushy seats more comfortable than the couch at Warwick’s parents’, sleeping quarters with partitions to separate them from the front of the bus and each other, a rather roomy loo, and a tall, skinny bus driver named Kai. There was no worry about losing luggage this time, since the only one handling all of it was Warwick. Not that he had any of his own luggage to lose. Not yet. The airline had called just that morning, however, so Warwick had them send it on to the hotel in Dallas, the hope being it would arrive before they did.
“I wonder if I can jump on a bus bed.” Dom was already stretched out on one with his keyboard before Kai even started the engine.
