Being the young wife to a dangerous  powerful mafia seems like a wonderful life  of fine jewellery , expensive lifestyle . Well actually thats the life but wait till its a bad day at work thats when you will know that part "for better or worse"is not just a phrase.

One night Damien came home in a very fowl mood . I overheard  the staff say one of his men  was  killed  in a foul play car accident and it was suspected it was one of the Taiwanese family .

I was starting to get scared, there was a storm outside lightning and heavy.

I was shaking a little . He wouldnt harm me , he said he loves me .

He tore off my nightdress and threw it on the floor like it was just a  piece of paper.

I  took a shower and wore the robe in the guestroom I could use my hair to cover the marks by bringing them to the front , I cant wear a scarf since its so hot here and I dont own any .

I dont want anyone to see my shame or know what happened.

I took the bloody robe and sheet and placed them in a trashbin deep inside .I could lie it was my period and I was shy about it .

I gathered courage and went back to my room so I could get dressed  and head to Knight's room .

"Where is Knight ?"I asked.

"He's with Marie, in the other room "  he said, Marie is Knight's nanny.

"Come on Artemisia  you have seen me naked a lot of times"he said .

"Not in my father's house "I said .

He drew my arm away from my eyes.

"Look at me baby, "he said . I looked at him still holding the knive.

"Damien why did you rape me?"I asked .

"I was so angry at what happened with one of my men , he wasn't just anyone he was like a brother to me , I lost someone and it hurt so much that I snapped and lost it . You could've told me to stop or do something but you didn't , you let me do whatever I wanted with you because you love  me to death   . When I saw those marks on your neck I realized how far  I went  I nearly killed you . I can't tell you how sorry I am . I don't think I can live without you or my son . I can see it in his eyes how sorry he is , he knelt down infront of me . Drew my hand that held the knive  to his neck the sharp edge on him one wind blow and hes dead as the knive is so sharp.

"I have everything set , that will make this look like an accident no one will know , my men will  cover everything up, my assets will be yours  . I promised you I will never hurt you or rape you and I broke that promise. A broken promise is a death sentence my love . "He said .

I can't kill him , I understand how he feels he's a man who's been alone his entire life that he can't control his anger , I was there too , I know how it  feels to lose the ones you love . He's been good to me  a lot .

I stroked his hair with my free hand.

I threw the knive away .

"Damien please stand up"I said.

He stood up .

Looking into his eyes I realised he was crying .

I hugged him.

I can't lie how nervous I am sitting opposite  next to Tyson .
