I left and ran home to grab my car. The guards at our borders were extremely surprised when I ran in as Diesel and in five minutes I was pulling onto the drive way. One of then stepped to my car with concern in his eyes. They felt my nervousness the whole pack did, we were connected.
-Alpha, is everything fine? - he asked and I forced a smile on my face.
- Of course Gerome. I'm just in a hurry. I lost my sense of time while I was running today morning and I have to get to the office in fifteen minutes. - he nodded still concerned, but it seemed that he ate my lie. Just when I was about to leave a too familiar voice shouted.
