Nick’s POV
"Where's mom ate?" I asked and kissed my sister's cheek.
"She's at the balcony." She smiled.
I immediately went there and found her talking to someone through phone call. I was about to go and just come back afterwards because I do not want to disturb her and eavesdropping is not my thing but I heard a name that made me do it.
"Okay Anne. Call me hija if you need anything, okay?" Mom said sweetly.
My eyes widen when I heard her name. Was she… talking to my wife?
Years had passed but the pain still feels like the moment I knew they left. I am taking every chance to find them… or even just hear a single thing about them. It is driving me nuts to think that I have not even a single detail of how and where they are. They just disappeared…
