I didn’t think of it at the time, but we’re completely caged in by homework and reined back by exams next week. Knowing this, I was ambitious enough to ask Alistair out on our first official date—which unlike me wouldn’t impact his education in any way, but I’m not throwing our date out the window.
When our group in English concluded on a long-argued time to meet and practice our scenes, it just had to be this Saturday. Alistair has other plans on Sunday, so moving our date isn’t an option nor is cancelling it.
