Two weeks…
Two damn weeks since the attack on our pack had happened and Duncan was still lying in that bed, not showing any signs of life. I was cursing Violet for lying, and for giving me hopes of him being okay.
I was losing it, and I didn’t know what to do.
There would be a celebration in the next two weeks, where I would finally take over the pack as their Alpha, with Duncan by my side as my Beta, and Daviana and Kellina as my warriors.
I didn’t want any of it without him by my side. I didn’t want to lead this pack without his love and protection. Not without his presence.
Lucius was finally out of our lives, and Jaimee was returned to her family, making me happy to know that her parents were glad to see her after so long. Mother and Father had made sure to take her back
