Taking several long breaths to calm my nerves, I remembered I had to inform Xavi that I reached home safe.
“Can you give me my phone back now?” I asked as soon as Jinn unlocked the door to our house.
“Why?”
I fumed in anger when he asked me so calmly as if he just did not have an idea why I was asking my phone for.
“To inform Xavier that I reached home. He would be dead worried about me.” I said balling my fists tightly as I desired to drive them into his chest with several punches.
“Hmm..” He hummed and fished out my phone from his pant pocket. For a second I thought he was going to hand it to me but instead he swiped it open. I wanted to smack myself hard for not having a passcode on it but I made a mental note to set one right after this incident.
“What are you doing?”
