SPO3 Alistair sighed deeply after remembering the past. He tried living a normal life, but it keeps on haunting him and his family, especially his eldest daughter, Janine. It's probably the punishment to his grandfather for turning his back from heaven and marrying a human being.
He was about to leave when he heard moans from Rayvor. He slowly opened his eyes and looked around.
"W-where am I?" He touched his forehead and closed his eyes to adjust his vision to the fluorescent light of the room. He glanced at the dextrose needle on his hand.
"You're in my daughter's boyfriend's house. They saw you on the street, full of bruises and wounds." He helped Rayvor to sit up and lean on the headboard. "What exactly happened to you?"
