What did I do? I mean, I just offered to be friends with that guy? I have never been close with boys ever since I was young, but now; I was going to be with Ethan. Of all boys? Why did I even agree?
“Hey? Is something bothering you?” aunt Rita questioned me after I had zoned out while helping her chop the onions and bell papers.
“Sorry I didn’t mean....” I wanted to explain to her, and she smiled at me coming close to me.
“Do you miss your mom?” She questioned me as I swallowed hard, not sure what to say, I have never wanted to talk about my mom ever since she passed away and here was Aunt trying to talk about her.
“Yes, I do, but it’s not that. I wanted to find out. Is it fine if Jeff would take me to school and not pick me up on certain days?” I question
