If 5 cats catch 5 mice in 5 minutes, how long will it take one cat to catch a mouse?

"I'm sorry?" he apologized, snapping me out of my daze. 

"O-oh. I'm s-sorry, I-I didn't mean to bump into y-you. I wasn't p-paying attention its a-all my fault, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry. I'm-" he put up his hand.

"I get it alright? Your sorry, its fine." he replied annoyed, raking his hand through his hair. God what I'd do just to get to mess with it myself. I guess I must have been staring again because he was waving his hand in front of my face trying to get a response out of me. As the bell rang signaling class to start I realized what was happening. I got up and ran, not thinking twice about the consequences. I followed where my feet took me, and it was the top of the roof. I stood there looking over the edge, thinking to myself 'What if I just ended it here?' 'Would mother, father and brother be better off?' 'Would anyone care to look?' I laughed at myself, thinking how funny it is to assume someone would actually care. Then the thought occurred to me, 'Would my friends be better off?' 

"What's so funny?"

Startled, I look around and notice the schools w***e and her friends were all watching me with a weird look. "I saw what you did." I looked at her confused. " How you purposely ran into the handsome new student." she continued in her annoying high pitched voice, "Stop playing dumb." She walked up to me and backhanded me, no doubt leaving a mark on my cheek. "What did you think would happen? *slap - this time I can taste blood* Did you think you can seduce him and we'd stop? *kick* Did you think you could escape us?" she asked, smiling with a crazy glint in her eyes. 

I gathered all the strength I had and pushed her out the way, shocking her and her friends. Using that time I ran for the door and almost made it to a classroom, when all of a sudden my hair was yanked. Punches and kicks came from every direction, I knew I couldn't fight back and on top of that I had to suppress my friends urges to come out. I cried out as I could feel every bone in my body break and reassemble, there was blood gathering all around me. I knew what was next. A roar was heard, I couldn't tell if my friends slipped through my hold or if someone had seen us.
