Zina’s POV
“You’re here!” Professor McNeal screamed as she saw Elijah and I come out of the car.
“My beautiful future daughter-in-law!” She continued to squeal as she pulled me into a hug.
“Hello Rebecca” I said awkwardly not knowing how to reply to the ‘future daughter-in-law’ part.
“Mom, you're scaring her.” Elijah laughed pulling me into his arms.
“I knew you two would be a perfect fit together! I am so glad I forced Elijah to hire you back then!” Rebecca smiled and I looked at Elijah to which he gave a slight smile, more of a smirk really, shrugged and pulled me along into the house.
“You have no idea how happy I am that you two are together!” Rebecca continued to smile at us while Elijah helped me with my seat at the table.
“Rebecca, you’re going to scare her off. Stop it.”
