I felt myself tense with every growing second as I watched Caleb fight Annabelle’s father. I couldn’t help but worry about him. Not only that, but it is beginning to make me feel like I was having a fever.
I felt growing uncomfortably hot with every growing second, but I pushed myself to focus on him. Where did this come from? This sudden fear of losing him. Or how he makes me feel when he is close to me.
My mind was going haywire between my feelings for him and my fear of him getting hurt. It wasn’t until Kim gasped that I was really brought back to focus on my surroundings. Well, other than Caleb, of course.
