I woke as Axel carried me into the shower and the warm water hit me.
Heaven.
He sinks to the ground with me on his knee holding me close. I watch to putrid grime and blood wash off me and run down the drain.
It is over.
I did it, I am safe.
I am weak but I will regain my strength in time. I have no idea how long it will take but with Axel by my side I will be fine.
