*Axel POV*
I wake early my arms still wrapped tightly around Jade, I know she is getting annoyed at me but is it so wrong to be so protective of her. I mean I always have been and now I feel like I am protecting her and our pup, it is double the responsibility for me and I am trying to take the job seriously, but it is hard when the person in question doesn’t feel like she needs to be protected.
She is still sleeping so I just rest my face into her neck and breathe deeply trying to wash away the worries that today is going to bring. It is a huge undertaking. One that I hope that I am up to handling. Eventually Jade stirs and I kiss her on the cheek.
