Anika and I went to small pub just at the end of the town's border. We took a table on the farthest corner since Anika's a bit not comfortable of the place. Its not our usual high end bar we used to go to in New York, but it will do.
Anika ordered a couple of tequila shots for us.
"So... how was life treating you here Nathan?" Anika asked taking a sip.
I sighed before taking a shot.
"I admit it was hard. Its far different from what I am used to. Its a struggle at first but we can manage." I told her.
"Well, that won't be too long. Once you take over the company, you'll be able to take your once comfortable life back." She said taking a shot.
