That afternoon while Emory did some more work on his project, Cam and Mr. Magee went over to the Grafton cabin to make sure it was in order before they left the next day. After closing the windows, making sure the fans were turned off, and writing a thank you note to leave on the counter, Cam took Mr. Magee out for a walk. They walked around the back of the cabin and passed the A/C unit. Just for the heck of it, Cam pressed the reset button. The unit started immediately.
At the sound, Mr. Magee stopped his sniffing and looked at Cam.
Cam laughed. “I won’t tell Emory it’s working if you don’t.”
Mr. Magee wagged his tail and went back to his business.
